At the Yessenia Torres Foundation, we recognize that animal protection is not only an act of compassion, but an ethical responsibility that reflects our level of humanity. Through the Animal Protection program, we develop comprehensive actions that seek to save lives, raise awareness, and promote harmonious coexistence between humans and animals.
We focus on the rescue, rehabilitation, veterinary care, and finding responsible homes for animals that have been abandoned, abused, or at risk. Many of these animals have suffered the pain of neglect and violence, and our work consists of restoring their dignity, health, and the opportunity for a dignified and happy life.
In addition to our direct actions, we promote educational programs for children, youth, and seniors, with the aim of cultivating a culture of respect, empathy, and responsibility toward animals from an early age. We believe that change begins with education and example, and that is why we coordinate our initiatives with schools, communities, and committed volunteers.
We also carry out sterilization, vaccination, awareness-raising, and responsible adoption campaigns, in partnership with veterinary professionals, partner organizations, and local governments. These efforts not only prevent abandonment but also contribute to safer and more sustainable public health.
Every life we rescue is a life-changing story, a lesson in unconditional love, and an inspiration to keep moving forward. We invite all individuals, companies, and institutions that share this cause to be an active part of the Animal Protection program. You can contribute as a volunteer, foster home, donor, or ambassador for our campaigns.
Together, we can build a world where all living beings are valued, protected, and loved.
